About the UIC Alliance of Universities
The UIC Alliance of Universities was established in 2015 under the aegis of UIC for the development of High-Speed Rail (HSR).
The Alliance is a global academic network including universities, institutes of technology, polytechnics, engineering, architecture and business schools that have shown substantial involvement in the development of high-speed railways.
Objectives
The objectives of the Alliance are as follows:
- Create synergies and share knowledge about research and innovation between the parties;
- Improve education in the field of high-speed rail;
- Exchange and disseminate information between universities and UIC members; and
- Develop and implement specific research programmes on the development of high-speed railways.
